Discipline Policy

We believe in positive redirection when dealing with undesirable behaviors. Our teachers will never belittle, hit, isolate or withhold food from any child. When a child behaves in an unacceptable manner, we will encourage him/her to recognize the problem and help them to figure out alternative behaviors. Sometimes, children (as well as adults) need a "time-out." Time out is not meant to isolate, but a time to sit with a teacher and discuss proper classroom rules and behaviors.

We do not contact parents for every instance of misbehaving as we understand that most of these behaviors are age appropriate. You will only be contacted if your child bites another child, continues to show undesirable behaviors or if behaviors get worse.
