Our Four Year Old Children follow the Exceed Curriculum coupled with Christian teachings to prepare for kindergarten. Each week the children will be introduced to a new theme. The centers in the classroom will be set up to facilitate learning with objects and books that enhance that week's theme. Your child will enjoy hands on learning as they explore their classroom environment. Your child will focus on a "letter of the week." Phonemic awareness will be practiced daily with songs, finger plays and stories. Children in the K4 program put their self help skills to the test by use of a job chart. Children are asked not only to take care of themselves but also each other. You will be asked to send in snack one day every month for the entire class. On your child's snack day, he/she will be in charge of handing out napkins, cups and the snack to the class.

We feel very confident that children who attend our preschool will leave our program with a solid foundation for their move to elementary school.
